The Aquila 46 Coupe has been nominated for the European Powerboat of the Year 2026 award in the catamaran category, adding new recognition to the growing list of distinctions that this model has obtained since its launch earlier this year.
The nomination places the 46 Coupe alongside four other power catamarans competing in the same category. The German nautical magazine BOOTE announced the nominations, whose winners will be selected by a professional jury and announced during the boot Düsseldorf boat show, in Germany, next January.

The 46 Coupe features a contemporary coupe-like design that combines the excitement of a sports boat with the comfort of a yacht. Her wide beam of 17 feet 11 inches (5.46 meters) offers versatile spaces for entertaining and refined accommodations in two full cabins, each with a private bathroom. From daily outings to weekend getaways or extended cruises, the boat adapts to any adventure, powered by the innovative Aquila Hydro Glide® carbon fiber semi-hydrodynamic system, which significantly improves efficiency and performance.

Available with two 600-horsepower Mercury Verado V12 outboard engines or two 480-horsepower Volvo Penta D6 DPI inboard engines, the 46 Coupe combines performance-oriented engineering with practical cruising capability. The boat has a 616 gallon (2,331 liter) fuel tank and is certified under the CE B (offshore) category.
This nomination follows the award obtained in April 2025 at the Yacht Style Awards in Singapore, where the model was recognized as Best Motor Catamaran Under 15 Meters. The 46 Coupe made its world debut at the Miami International Boat Show in February 2025 and its European debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September, where the inboard engine configuration was also debuted.
The design of the 46 Coupe focuses on versatility and the use of space. A spacious aft cockpit features an integrated bar connecting the indoor and outdoor areas, while a panoramic electric sunroof offers protection from the sun and the elements. Wraparound windows fill the interior with natural light, and a motorized carbon fiber door opens to the bow seating area. The double-stepped hull, combined with the standard hydroplaning system, optimizes efficiency at cruising speeds.
The winners of the European Powerboat of the Year 2026 will be announced at the beginning of next year, once the evaluation and voting period has ended.
