After extensive market research in the sport fishing industry, working with the design team and fishing experts, as well as gathering customer feedback Aquila has succeeded in creating a design that offers exceptional deep sea fishing capability and outstanding performance, but also luxury amenities for family and friends.
Focused on boat performance and structural strength, including extensive computational fluid dynamics testing to maximize drag reduction and range with two-step hulls, carbon/epoxy front and rear main splits, and a carbon/epoxy hardtop to reduce weight and strengthen the overall structure.
The Aquila 47 Molokai is the first catamaran of its kind, and offers the perfect combination of real deep-sea fishing capabilities and amenities that include a bathroom and shower, plus a spacious air-conditioned cabin with a king-size bed.
With two entry doors, access is easy, and the large upper and side windows flood the cabin with natural light during the day allowing for stargazing from the bed at night.
Equipped with twin 600-hp Mercury Verado outboards or four 400-hp engines, the Aquila 47 Molokai provides thrilling performance and smooth, predictable cruising thanks to its bold two-step hull design and rugged lightweight construction, along with a bilge system with variable-speed pumps.
Joystick steering makes maneuvering in tight spaces easy, and its fuel capacity of 1,048 gallons (3,967 liters) gets you to any destination.
The Aquila 47 Molokai has seven comfortable, protected cockpit seats made of UltraLeather fabrics with the option to upgrade to Release Marine teak seats.
